There is no excuse for slouching in the background and waiting for someone else to speak up or help. It’s up to each one of us to do our part.
We are all presented with moments to help someone who can’t help themselves or act on behalf of someone who needs an advocate. We’ve all been there before ourselves. Remember what it was like, and when it’s your turn, act with conviction and courage.
You will never regret action taken or help you gave, but those moments when “I should have” can haunt for life.
