Everyone needs hope. It’s what gets us through tough times and helps us carry others in their time of need. In its grandest sense, hope is the finish line, the last round of chemo, the promise of a clean bill of health, the possibility of falling in love again. We will welcome even the smallest semblance of it in times of desperation and grief.

We can clearly see hope in someone else’s life, but it is often blurry and elusive in our own. This is why delivering it to someone who needs it is a great gift. A card in the mail or a text from a friend is a beacon on a bad day. However big or small, someone you know could use some hope today. Take a few minutes to offer some.
