My niece once asked me “how did you know that your husband was ‘the one?’” My response was easy; “I knew because it wasn’t even a question.”

The same holds true with so many decisions in life. When you know, you know. Signs that you are on the right track include ease, feeling healthy, uplifted and light. It might still scare the crap out of you and push you out of your comfort zone, but anything worth a damn will do that. The key is that there is a big difference between good fear and bad fear. Good fear makes you feel like you are next in line to ride a roller coaster. You are excited but know it might make your stomach turn and when you get off you will feel exhilarated. Bad fear fills you with dread, makes you feel tired and sick along with anxious and stressed.

When you don’t know, you need to ask yourself what you need to know to make a wise decision. Fears that are holding you back may be an indication that something or someone isn’t right for you. Listen to those inklings however strong or faint. The moment you have doubts or have to talk yourself in to something is your cue to pause and really think about the situation.

What do you have to ask yourself today?
